Armida Fernandez, MD, DCH Managing Trustee
Dr. Fernandez is the Founder Trustee of SNEHA. She was Professor
& Head of Neonatology and past Dean of LTMG Medical College
and Hospital. She was an elected Ashoka Fellow in 2004. She was
president of the National Neonatal Forum.
Ms. Mary Patricia Soans, BA Co- Founder/ Chair
Ms. Soans is the Co-founder of SNEHA. She is involved in fund
raising activities at SNEHA as well as social welfare services
through her church. She was active with the PTA for schools in
Santa Cruz.
Mrs. Blanche Saldanha,BSc, BEd Member
Mrs. Saldanha is a member of the Board of Directors and the promoter
group of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited. As Director - Exports,
she has been heading Glenmark's international operations for over
23 years.
Dr. Sindhu Shanbag, MBBS Secretary
Dr. Shanbhag has worked in the MCGM and retired as a Medical Officer
( Administration) at KB Bhabha Hospital, Bandra. She was also
Officer Special Duty at the Integrated Centre for Women &
Children at Dharavi.
Dr. Jayashree Mondkar, MD, DCH Treasurer
Dr. Mondkar is currently Professor & Head of the Neonatology
Department at LTMG Hospital & Medical College. She is also
Director of the Human Milk Bank at LTMG Hospital.

Wasundhara Kanbur, MD, DCH Member
Dr. Wasundhara is a Pediatrician, who has now moved to the field
of applied behavioural sciences. She practiced & taught Pediatrics
& Neonatalogy at LTMG Hospital. She has experienced working
with public health systems, the NGO sector and the corporate field.
Dr. Ruchi Nanavati, MD Member
Dr. Nanavati is Professor & Head of the Neonatology Department
at KEM Hospital. She is a member of the Governing Body of National
Neonatal Forum and Principal Investigator and key trainer for
Kangaroo Mother Care.
