Pearl Wave Awards

The WAVE march on 16th Feb 2010 to felicitate women survivors of domestic violence

SNEHA to host ‘World’s First Young Champions of Maternal Health’ named by Ashoka and the Maternal Health Task Force

Celebrate Life!

This year our fundraising event, Celebrate Life featured Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, with a side-splitting stand up act, and scintillating dance performances by Aditi Bhagwat (Kathak) and the Danceworx Performing Arts Academy (Jazz). The evening was ably hosted by Cabrino Fernandes who delighted the audience with his music too.

We raised Rs. 10,00,000 to support the organization’s work towards healthy babies and women in urban slums, through financial exigencies. To donate to SNEHA please click here.

Pearl Wave Awards!

Pearl WAVE organized a program to recognize and felicitate women survivors of Domestic Violence and those women who have contributed to changing lives of women facing violence. Amongst the women being honoured were Ritu Kumar, Priya Dutt, Flavia Agnes, etc.

“The Real Woman Honour Award” was conferred on Dr Nayreen Daruwalla from the Centre for Vulnerable Women and Children(CVWC), SNEHA. This was indeed a platform where CVWC women had an opportunity to speak about SNEHA & make people from the entertainment world, the socialites & other dignitaries know about the work that SNEHA carries out.
