Sangini Manual for Volunteer Support

This manual has been created for Sanginis - our women volunteers who work closely with communities in Dharavi, Govandi, Kurla, and Wadala, but it is designed to support any community volunteer or individual who wants to help a survivor of violence in their neighbourhood. It brings together essential information in simple, accessible, conversational Hindi, supported by pictorial guides.

The manual covers where to seek help, including key government and SNEHA contacts and addresses; protocols to ensure the safety of volunteers and community members; steps for immediate response to survivors; types of violence; and important laws such as the PWDVA, POCSO, and BNS.
