How SNEHA Can Help


SNEHA’s crisis helpline offers free counselling services over the telephone and over email to women and children facing violence and in distress.



We assist:


  • ANY woman or child who is or has been a survivor of physical, sexual, emotional and/or financial violence

  • ANY individual who has witnessed violence or knows someone who is facing violence and wants to help

We support survivors by:


  • Explaining the possible range of interventions available to the person in a crisis situation

  • Guiding survivors in filing police complaints

  • Helping survivors seek medical assistance or short-term shelter services

SNEHA maintains the confidentiality and anonymity of everyone who contacts the helpline. Contact Us
